HEALTH FUNDS

Claim on the Spot at the Practice

Joyner Family Dental is connected to HICAPS, which means your health fund rebate is applied at checkout — you only pay the gap. All major Australian funds are accepted, and the team is in the process of applying for preferred provider status with several funds.

On-the-Spot Claiming

HICAPS allows you to swipe your health fund card and claim instantly. No forms, no waiting for reimbursement — the gap is all you pay on the day.

Preferred Providers

Preferred provider agreements give members of certain funds access to higher rebates and reduced out-of-pocket costs. The team is currently applying for preferred provider status with HBF, HCF, CBHS, NIB, and TUH.

What's Covered

Most general dental services — check-ups, X-rays, scale and polish, fillings, and mouthguards — attract rebates under the extras or dental component of your policy. Rebate amounts vary by fund and level of cover. Contact your fund before your appointment to confirm your available annual benefits.
